The Prevention Waiver will be piloted in 36 Missouri Counties where the SB 40 boards have agreed to pay one-half of the required matching funds. The primary purpose of this waiver is to provide a limited package of supports and services to individuals whose needs can be met by this waiver to help prevent crisis and out-of-home placement in the future. This waiver became effective October 1, 2010.
