Direct Support Professional Award Nominations DUE JULY 1, 2010

The Direct Support Professional Award is given annually to an individual who provides direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities, who are dedicated to providing opportunities for the people they serve to become active, valued members of the St. Charles County Community.

Please refer to the attached brochure for eligibility criteria. A nomination form is also attached to this notice.

Deadline for submission is July 1, 2010.

May 24, 2010 Finance Committee Agenda

The Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles County will hold a Finance Committee meeting, Monday, May 24, 2010, 3:00 p.m. at the DDRB Office, 156 St Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters MO.

Free Long-Term Planning Workshop

“Securing the Future of Your Loved One With Special Needs”
Community Living, Inc., Crider Health Center, F.A.C.T., Family Support Services, Life Skills, United Services, and Willows Way are collaborating to provide free educational workshops on long-term planning for loved ones with special needs.

Dates: Tuesday, May 18, 2010, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. OR 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
