DMH FY2015 Impact Summary

STATEWIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IMPACTED BY LOW REVENUE GROWTH AND TAX CUTS

To overcome FY 2015 budget shortfalls, Department of Mental Health will reduce its state General Revenue spending by approximately $34 million. The actions taken by the Governor’s Office and Department of Mental Health attempt to minimize the impact of the cuts to existing programs for the 170,000 individuals served by the department each year.
