New Social Programs for Children and Youth

The DDRB is funding two new social programs through Easterseals Midwest.

PEERS Social Skills Group is a social skills program for individuals with autism who are in middle or high school. PEERS meets weekly for 1.5 hours and runs for 14 weeks.

Children’s Friendship Training is a social skills program for elementary school age children (3rd-5th graders) with milder forms of autism. This group meets weekly for one hour for 12 weeks.

Both programs are free to eligible St. Charles County families.

The next session begins in January. Call Easterseals Midwest Adminissions Department at 314-432-6200 or by email at admissions@esmw.org for dates, times and location.
